Carmen Stork

I am a qualified psychological counsellor and yoga teacher with over twenty years of experience supporting emotional well-being, personal development, and resilience across different stages of life. With an academic background in education and additional training in psychological counselling, my work is grounded in a holistic, body–mind-oriented approach that honours each person’s individual story, strengths, and challenges.

Having lived and worked in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Belgium, I understand from personal experience the emotional complexity that often accompanies life abroad. Relocation, cultural transitions, language barriers, changing family dynamics, and questions of identity can be both enriching and deeply challenging. This is why I specialise in expat counselling, supporting individuals and families—also children and adolescents—as they navigate change, loss, adjustment, and the search for stability and belonging in a new environment. As a mother of three I know what means to relocate a family.

Alongside my counselling work, I integrate yoga, mindfulness, and breath awareness when appropriate. These embodied practices can support emotional regulation and stress reduction. My approach is always gentle and adapted to the needs of each client.

My work is guided by empathy, professionalism, ethical responsibility and strict confidentiality. My studio is a calm, welcoming space where people can truly feel seen, supported and accompanied on their path toward clarity, inner stability, and sustainable well-being.

I offer life coaching and counselling, specialising in:

  • Parental guidance;
  • Relationship problems;
  • Transitioning into a new environment;
  • Stress Management;
  • Burn out;
  • Anxiety;
  • Relaxation;
  • Systemical therapy;
  • Mindfulness;
  • Yoga (kids, pregnancy).
